Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this position performs a variety of professional, technical and analytical classification and compensation activities in support of the development, implementation and maintenance of the City’s classification and compensation systems; provides analytical and technical support for union negotiation teams; and is responsible for providing administration and support of Workday, a Human Resource Information System.
Experience and Education
Three (3) years of increasingly responsible human resources generalist experience, with an emphasis in classification and compensation preferably in a public sector and unionized environment. Experience with Workday preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources, public administration or related field.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
