The Employment Program Specialist (EPS) is a key contributor to the success of Relay’s employment program for people with disabilities. Acting as a team, EPS’s collaborate to manage full cycle recruiting for direct labor candidates across Relay’s business lines, the onboarding of all new employees, and overseeing initial and ongoing security clearances. Each EPS focuses on one of these three areas and is also cross trained to back-up their teammates as needed. This roles primary responsibilities will be in Onboarding.
- Work with fellow EPS’s to transition new hires from offer acceptance through their first day of work by ensuring all pre-employment requirements and new hire documentation is complete and accurate
- Enter all new hire information into HRIS system in a timely, accurate manner
- Conduct onboarding and benefit orientation sessions with new employees on both an individual and group basis, or via HRIS when possible
