Portland Public Schools (PPS) is seeking talented people from diverse backgrounds and experiences to lead change and inspire PPS students. With the District’s focus on eliminating systemic racism and its adverse impact on student learning, we seek to hire individuals who bring to our district a deep commitment to racial equity and social justice.
The Associate must possess an intellectual curiosity, have a growth mindset and participate in developing and implementing employee and labor relations programs which sustain a richly diverse, inclusionary workforce and support the district’s education and equity goals. The associate will be tasked with disseminating information related to the District’s employee and labor relations programs for unrepresented employees and those covered under any of the District’s collective bargaining agreements. We strongly encourage you to apply if you have 2 years of experience in employee and labor relations, and if you have a Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, public administration, psychology, sociology, law, or a related field.
