POSITION DETAILS:
• Position Title: Treatment Access Specialist
• Department: Access Center
• Employment Status: Fulltime
• Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Treatment Access Specialist is often the first point of contact with De Paul for people seeking help. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries via phone, email and live chat; providing program and service information; performing pre-admissions screenings; entering new client information into data systems and updating existing client information; verifying insurance benefits; and completing miscellaneous projects in support of other departments. The team also performs front-desk tasks for our youth treatment programs: greeting new clients, checking in visitors. This position is largely based out of our Northeast Portland location; however, some shifts at our downtown facility may be necessary.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED
• Two years of call center or equivalent customer service experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Efficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Office programs
• Experience in or knowledge of the addiction field helpful but not required
• Bilingual Spanish encouraged to apply
