Netrush is looking for a QA Tester to support our Vancouver, Washington office. This is a great opportunity for a passionate QA Tester who is looking for a place to make an impact. The QA Tester will influence how we build, establish, and shape our quality assurance team. This position will work closely with Business System Analysts, Software Developers and Software Development Managers to bring concepts to fruition in order to drive efficiencies and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with a skilled team testing the tools that drive our business into the future
  • Work with product owners and BSAs to define testing requirements
  • Testing of development deliverables, providing back actionable feedback
  • Perform regression testing
  • Development of reusable test plans
  • Participate in sprint planning’s and provide feedback
  • Accurately estimate time for tasks
  • Help define or improve acceptance criteria
  • Identify and troubleshoot hard to find bugs and outline steps to reproduce
  • Provide guidance and assistance for project UAT testing
  • Recommend, design, and implement best practice processes using technology, automation, and monitoring
  • Willingness to learn and explore new technologies
  • Occasionally work with end users, observing their actions, and then outlining the issue for development

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong fundamentals in QA methodologies and procedures, test planning and test case development.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, time management, and organizational skills
  • Work experience with Agile and Scrum software development methodology
  • Work experience developing Test Plans
  • Work experience with Test Automation

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Work experience with Azure DevOps
  • Work experience in Azure environments
  • Familiarity with CI/CD Processes
  • Experience with various types of types
  • Black Box

  • User Acceptance

  • Load
  • Experience with the following languages & databases:
  • C#
  • React, Redux & TypeScript
